The T3R Radio and Music Awards will be held at Texas Live in Arlington March 29, 2027 but before they hand out awards, you need to nominate and vote. The T3R just released those dates. Round 1 Nominations will run November 9-28. Round 2 Semi-Finals will be December 6-29 featuring the Top 10 Nominees and the Final Round of 5 voting will be January 5-9. Nominations, Voting, Tickets and sponsorships can all be found at TRRMA.net. You have to be a member to vote BUT there is a FREE membership option.
William Beckmann dropped a brand‑new single called “You Only Love To Break My Heart,” out now via Gatsby Records/MCA. The official music video is also live.
The New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce handed out only 6 awards at the end of September and Bri Bagwell was given one of them, the Chair of the Board Award in the field of tourism & Community Promotion. Bri’s work with her Float Forecast video series helped find a fun and engaging way to keep visitors and residents informed about what is happening around their town during the summer.

TRICK OR TREATY OAK IS BACK and they’re bringing the heat to Stephenville, TX on October 30th. Treaty Oak Revival headlines the night at LJT® Texas Music Fest, joined by William Clark Green, Austin Meade, and Sterling Elza, all benefiting Fosters Home for Children. Limited‑edition Treaty Oak Revival shirts are live now on the band’s website, with 100% of proceeds donated to the charity.

On October 3, 2000, a kid named Randy Rogers started a band and played every Tuesday night at Cheatham Street, the same club he now owns. Cody Canada posted a video to talk about what he has been up to. He and his family have been traveling from New York to California and making up for lost time by being on the road for 30 years. This break and the concerts they saw has sparked his creativity again. He is writing songs with his buddy Mike McClure from The Great Divide for what will be a new record from Cross Canadian Ragweed in the future, possibly in 2027.
Koe Wetzel and Parker McCollum are reuniting for the 2026 Naughty Or Nice Holiday tour. It’s been 7 years since the guys teamed up for this event and there will only be 5 shows across Texas to catch them. The tour kicks off December 2nd at Floore’s Country Store in Helotes, outside of San Antonio, Texas. The pair will have stops in Houston, Corpus Christi, Round Rock and wrap up December 10th at Billy Bob’s Texas in Ft. Worth. Jackson Wendell and Logan Janke will open these shows.
The Randy Rogers Band will mark their 25thanniversary with a new album called Songbook, that comes out arriving January 22, 2027. This album revisiting their 15 chart topping songs while having their friends join them in singing it. The 15 Track list of hits and guests include Miranda Lambert, Parker McCollum, Koe Wetzel, Cody Jinks, Ty Myers, Flatland Cavalry and of course Wade Bowen. The first release, “Tommy Jackson” featuring Parker McCollum, drops October 9. Pre-orders are open now.
Mark Powell has added more livestock to his Outlaws & LegendsRanch. The Jackson 5 are 5 Rheas (looks like an emu crossed with a an ostrich) and Hop Dylan, a tony Kangaroo. Mark and the Back Porchers are gearing up for Outlaws & Legends 2027 which is just 5 months away. And Mark loaded up his wife and their youngest Macy for a Senior Excurion. Macy always wanted to see Vermont in October and Dad made it happen. Mark said that the colors were amazing.
