 Flatland Cavalry joins Will Carter and Ty Myers as artists releasing albums on March 27th. The new Flatland album promises to be choked full of that great Flatland sound and the band said Life’s a labor of love and so is their new album. It’s call Work Of Heart and pre-sales are going on now. And they are releasing a new single from the album called “On And On.” What’s your favorite Flatland song?
 

Parker McCollum’s wife, Hallie‑Ray Light McCollum, appears in the music video for his new single “Killin’ Me,” filmed at Billy Bob’s Texas and throughout the Fort Worth Stockyards. The Parker McCollum Deluxe Edition, featuring four new tracks, arrives March 20.
 

Ashley Cooke, Bob DiPiero, Ernest, Hardy, Jack Ingram, Robert Earl Keen, Lori McKenna, Liz Rose and Jeffrey Steele are among the songwriters and artists performing during the annual Key West Songwriters Festival April 29-May 3.
 

Jackson Dean, Wade Bowen, Cody Canada, Frankie Ballard, Harper Grace, Alex Lambert, Shelby Stone, Sunny Sweeney and Chandler Walters have been added to the lineup of the invite-only Live In The Vineyard Goes Country in Napa Valley, CA April 21–23.
 

Louisiana Singer Kendal Shaffer and his wife Brittany Rose must have found the baby in the King Cake. The pair are expecting their 2ndchild in August. They may get to knock two birthdays out at the same time. Their 1st child will turn 3 on August 23rd.
 

Both Halves of the duo Love & Chaos are on the mend. AJ Vallejo had a bad wreck over a year ago and more recently his singing partner Kendall Beard had big surgery to repair her ACL. Kendall is posting updates and reels on Instagram. Send her some well wishes.
 

Kevin Fowler finally released his duet with his long time friend and songwriting buddy David Lee Murphy. The new song is called "Maybe the Cowboys Were Right.” Aren’t they always right?
 

I hope you like BBQ. There is another festival that has the right recipe. The annual Red Dirt BBQ & Music Festival returns May 9 at The Park of East Texas in Tyler, where fans can dig into top‑tier barbecue and catch performances from Texas music Superstars Hudson Westbrook and Aaron Watson, along with Tracy Byrd, Southall, Bottomland, and Parker Ryan.
 

Jon Pardi and Hudson Westbrook will headline the Bulls, Bands & Barrels Summer Jam happening June 26–27 at the Thunder Ridge Nature Arena in Ridgedale, MO. Braxton Keith, Anne Wilson, The Creekers and Tyler Nance are also set to perform.
 

Josh Abbott and William Clark Green had a Panhandler Lunch recently. Well, half of one. Josh and William have their own music but they are also part of the group The Panhandlers with John Baumann and Cleto from Flatland Cavalry. The guys met up for lunch in Lubbock to catch up on life, kids, music and the road.
