The Randy Rogers Family Foundation raised $50,000 for The Rock Haus Foundation with its Oct. 5 Pickleball Jam in New Braunfels, TX, which included live music, a pickleball tournament and raffles. The Rock Haus Foundation serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the New Braunfels community.

Well, Kaitlin Butts signed a record deal with Republic Records, recorded a cover song that is going viral and relived the Jimmy Eat’s World Video of the song “The Middle” by packing her back in the back of a pickup that is heading to a party.
In 2020 when Cody Jinks put out his Adobe Sessions: Unplugged he recorded a Behind The Song video for each track but never released it. To honor the 10 year anniversary, Jinks is releasing the videos on Youtube.

Well, Cody Jinks is taking it one step further by actually making a limited run of them. The figures on for sale on his website for $75 each and won’t ship until December 10th.
CBS and Paramount+ debuted The Road three weeks ago, showcasing emerging artists from the Texas Music scene. Early episodes featured performances by Billie Jo Jones, Cody Hibbard and Olivia Harms, with Olivia being eliminated in episode two. The show airs on Sunday night.
Jesse Raub Jr got invited to a songwriters Gala in Nashville and really didn’t want to go but after talking to some fellow writers, he changed his mind and he is glad that he did. This was the Gold & Platinum Gala that honored songwriters whose songs have reached Gold and Platinum Status. Jesse Raub found out that a song he wrote with Cody Johnson, Dance Her Home, had reached Platinum Status and he was all smiles. Other names on this list included Terry McBride, Randy Rogers, Trent Willmon, Koe Wetzel, Zach Top and others.

Cody Jinks has a new meaning to his song and album titled In My Blood. His own son is 12 now and has been coming out on the road with Dad since he was 7 years old. Larson gets on stage and strums his guitar from time to time. Lots of artists have children that are jumping on stage with them. Aaron Watson’s son Jake plays guitar in the band and his daughter Jolie Kate sang with dad on an album. Wade Bowen’s son joins him on stage from time to time. Cody Canada’s two sons have their own bands, Jack Ingram’s son is doing music, Casey Chesnutt is out there following in his dad’s footsteps, the late Jerry Jeff Walker has his son Django out on the road keeping his music alive and Ned Ledoux is keeping his dad’s legacy alive as well.

Texas Red Dirt Legend Gary P Nunn is turning 80 and is celebrating this December with a few Birthday shows which are almost Sold Out. Gary P will play shows in Helotes, Spicewood, Plano and Houston. Gary will blow out 80 Birthday candles on December 4th.

After the Historic Coupland Dance hall decided to close their doors, a group bought it, is doing some quick clean up and remodeling and opening this month in Full Force with an all star line-up of artists and concerts including Aaron Watson on November 7th followed by Stoney Larue, Cory Morrow, Mark Chesnutt, Kevin Fowler and an acoustic Randy Rogers show.

The Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame has announced its 2025 class of inductees, including Cross Canadian Ragweed, Jason Boland and the Stragglers, Stoney LaRue, and more. The Hall will return to its newly renovated home in early 2026, marking a grand reopening for the Muskogee-based institution.
